Settemmezzo Hazelnut Colomba
The Settemmezzo Nocciola Colomba is one of eight Sicilian reinterpretations of the traditional Easter dove cake, reimagined by Chef Peppe Flamingo.
Like all of Marzapani’s signature leavened creations, it stands apart from Northern Italian artisanal Colombe for several key reasons:
• Type 1 Maiorca Flour from ancient Sicilian grains
• Eggs from naturally fed Modicana hens
• No artificial flavorings or preservatives — only pure Madagascar vanilla
• “Beddamattri” sourdough starter, refreshed in water for over 100 years

A simple, soft dough designed to be paired with two rich spreads.
What’s on top?
The entire upper layer is dipped in pure milk chocolate and sprinkled with crunchy hazelnut grains.
What kind of spread comes with it?
Unlike the other Colombe, this one comes with two artisan spreads: a silky smooth Gianduja cream (fluid even when cold) and a crunchy Hazelnut cream.
